Typical aranese house recently restored (2008) located in the old town in Vielha.

Surrounded by mountains in the real heart of Aran valley with beautiful views to Nere river

LOCATION

Baqueira Beret ski resort is only 14 Km from the house.

You can go to Baqueira by your own car or by bus.

There is a car park in Vielha and in Baqueira ski resort you can use on previous request.

Just 200 m. from the house, there’s the bus stop to get to Baqueira Beret.


Aranese house CAP DE VILA

The house is 130 m2.

There are 3 bedrooms with balcony from where you can see river Nere.

The house can host till 6 people in the three rooms with balcony and views to Nere river.

There are two bathrooms, a shared one on the first floor and a single one on the second floor, in an attic room.

TERRACE WITH BARBECUE

At the back side of the house there’s a wide terrace with a barbecue and equipment.

There you will enjoy the fresh air on sunny days and the strength of Nere river.

Few metres from the house you will find hiking routes:

  • Port de Vielha route; GR-211-5, 16´5 km till 2.423m.height. Old natural path between the Aran valley and Ribagorza.
  • Ribera del Nere-Tuca route; Cap dera Vila (Vielha) – Ribera deth Nere – Tuca – Betren- Vielha. Average difficulty.

Very close to the house there are many restaurants, typical bars from the Aran valley, lovely shops and shopping centres.

In a few metres there is a cinema, a sports centre and an ice rink.

Museu Etnológic del Valle de Arán (Ethnological museum from the Aran valley):

Located  in “La Torre del General Martinhon”, the seventeenth century castle-fortress that is one of Vielha’s landmarks. Much enlarged since then, the museum is an ideal starting point for an exploration of the history, culture and popular traditions of Aran.
